The Favor With a Little Drama

Some party favors get left on the table. This one gets taken home, photographed, and reused. The Favor With a Little Drama is our Raven Earl Grey Tea — black tea with natural bergamot oil from Italian bergamot oranges and lavender — packaged in a small glass jar with a tin lid and tucked into a natural muslin drawstring bag. It belongs at book clubs, literary-themed parties, bridal showers, and moody autumnal gatherings. It looks just as considered at a place setting as it does on a shelf.

What Makes Our Raven Tea Party Favors Special?

• Raven Earl Grey Tea (0.5oz per favor): Black tea with natural bergamot oil from Italian bergamot oranges and lavender. Loose leaf in a glass jar — not a bag, not a sachet. The bergamot arrives first; lavender finishes the sip. Contains moderate caffeine, roughly half the amount in a cup of coffee.
• Glass jar with tin lid: Small enough to fit on a saucer, slip into a gift bag, or stand upright at a place setting. After the tea is gone, the jar earns a second life as a spice jar, trinket holder, or travel storage.
• Muslin drawstring bag: Natural cotton, machine washable. A useful keepsake on its own — pouch for jewelry, coins, or travel essentials.
• $7.50 per favor, 6-favor minimum: Order exactly what you need — no fixed pack size beyond the 6-favor minimum ($45). Scale up as your guest list grows.
• Made to order in Maryland: Hand-blended and packaged at our Owings Mills facility. No artificial flavors, no synthetic ingredients.

These are made to order — allow 3-5 business days and plan accordingly when there is an event date on the calendar.

How to use: Brew one teaspoon per 8oz of water at 200–212°F and steep for 3–5 minutes. Serve hot with a splash of milk, or ice it with a squeeze of lemon for a completely different profile. Pairs well with honey — our Wildflower variety works beautifully alongside the bergamot, as does Orange Blossom.
