The Pink One
For people who blot their face at noon. The ones who carry powder in their bag, check the mirror after lunch, know which side of their nose gets shiny first.
This mask is rose clay and kaolin clay. Two clays that pull oil out of skin without leaving it feeling stripped or tight. The kind you mix fresh in a bowl on Sunday night when your face feels like it needs something.
What Makes Our Clarity Dry Mask Special?
- Rose clay and kaolin clay: Two clays that draw oil from skin without leaving it feeling stripped or tight. Rose clay (pink kaolinite) sourced from the United States; white kaolin clay provides a second layer of absorbency. Used together, they're suited for oily and combination skin without over-drying.
- Buttermilk powder and oat kernel meal: Buttermilk powder contains natural lactic acid — gentle exfoliation without scrubbing or scratching. Oat kernel meal adds texture and is well-tolerated by sensitive skin. The smell when you open the jar is buttermilk — that's what's in it.
- Dried honey and coconut fruit juice powder: Both contribute to the formula alongside the clays. Dried honey is the same ingredient used in the scrubs — here it's in powdered form.
- Mix it your way: Water works. Carrot juice, almond milk, green tea, yogurt — all used by people who've found what their skin responds to. Two parts mask powder to one part liquid, stirred to thick frosting consistency. Mix fresh each time.
- Small batch, Owings Mills: Made in our Maryland USDA facility. Every batch is checked and smelled before it goes in the jar.
One jar goes a long way — a weekly mask use at one ounce lasts several months.
How to Use
Mix two parts mask powder with one part liquid in a small bowl until it reaches a thick, even consistency — not runny, not stiff paste. Wash your face first. Apply to clean skin with fingers or a brush, focusing on oily zones. Leave on for ten to twenty minutes, then rinse with warm water. Follow with a light moisturizer. Use once or twice a week. Use within six months of opening and store away from heat and direct sunlight. External use only. Discontinue if irritation occurs.
